Frequently Asked Questions

1

Are there ID requirements or an age limit for this event?

Since we will be serving up all manner of delicious libations there IS an age limit AND ID requirement. Only those 21+ will be able to attend and drink with a valid license presented at the time of ticket redemption.

If I can't go can I just give my ticket to someone else?

Yes, you can. The person using your ticket either needs the physical ticket for scanning or the name of the ORIGINAL ticket holder for lookup. The person redeeming the ticket will need to have a photo ID proving they are over 21 at the time they redeem the ticket.

Shoot! You're sold out of pre-sale tickets. What now!?

First - call Family First Credit Union in Webster to see if they have any tickets left for pickup at their location. Their phone number is 585-586-8225. If they don't have any left read on!

The wait list is ordered from the first person to join it to the most recent joiners. What the wait list does is allow you to get notified if someone should need a refund for their ticket prior to the event. After they are refunded the ticket is offered to you and you have 24 hours to claim the ticket before it goes to the next person in line and so on. Tickets are able to be released to those on the waitlist until the event begins so it may be last-minute!

Do I need to bring my ticket to the event?

When you pre-pay online for your ticket you are also put on an attendee list. Although we do recommend bringing your ticket or downloading the Eventbrite App for a paperless ticket as this makes check-in much faster because we can just scan your barcode and send you off to sample! It's faster and easier for everyone. ID is required for all participants.

Can I pick up tickets for my whole group?

Unfortunately, no. Since this event is completely based around alcohol consumption (responsibly, of course) each redeeming ticket holder will need to present at the time the tickets are redeemed. As there are usually a lot of questions about this - if you have a group of 8 attending ALL 8 of you need to be there with ID to redeem tickets even if they are all under the same person's name. Any additional questions about this can be emailed to us!

How do refunds work?

If you bought a ticket and can't go for some reason (work, family, sickness, etc.) we are happy to refund your ticket up to 24 hours before the event. If during the day of the event you need to request a refund please write to us for directions. Plus, we live in Rochester so snow, rain and other inclement weather happens... a lot. If the weather is bad and the event is cancelled we will refund everyone in full or put it towards a future wine walk date f your choice.
